Be a citizen residing in the Kurdistan Region and not be younger than (18) years old and not older than (70) years old, be healthy in terms of mental and physical health.
Citizens must have a Digital ID.
Any citizen who has previously performed Hajj is not allowed to register, except for (Mahram Haji).
Citizens of the Kurdish areas outside the region who are residents of the region should register their names according to the information card within their place of residence.
Women who want to go to Hajj alone, must be 45 years of age or older.
Registration is only for one year.

Hajj Categories
Solo Man: Meaning a man who registers his name by himself and whose age is not less than (18) years and not more than (70) years.
Solo Woman: Meaning a woman who registers her name by herself and whose age is not less than (45) years.
Woman with a family member: Meaning a woman registers her name with a permanent mahram (father, brother, husband, maternal uncle, paternal uncle, grandfather, son-in-law, father-in-law).
Woman with a Hajji family member: A woman who has not performed Hajj with a permanent Mahram (father, brother, husband, uncle, paternal uncle, grandfather, son-in-law, father-in-law) who has performed Hajj.
Trio: Meaning two women with a permanent mahram (father, brother, husband, maternal uncle, paternal uncle, grandfather, son-in-law, father-in-law).
Guidelines for the Families of Martyrs
Details
The lottery is conducted through the system and by the General Directorate of Hajj and Umrah.
All families of martyrs and Anfal victims will benefit from an allocated quota based on a fair lottery.

The martyr's family needs to obtain a letter of support from the Ministry of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs.
Guidelines for Religious Teachers
Details
Religious scholars will accompany the pilgrims, and their job will be to guide the pilgrims in terms of religious duties and performing the Hajj rituals.
A religious leader must have the title of (prayer leader and sermon giver or prayer leader).
Religious teachers must be on the payroll of the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs.
Religious teachers are evaluated by the General Directorate of Hajj and Umrah.

A religious teacher needs to obtain a letter of endorsement from their local Directorate of Endowment.
Guidelines for Companies
Details
The company needs to work in the field of Hajj and Umrah, or Umrah.
The company must have been established for a year at least.
The CEO must not be older than 63 years for air travel and 60 years for land travel.
The company must not have been penalized within the past year up to the date of the lottery draw, nor have received a final warning from the General Directorate of Hajj and Umrah.
